Hi All,

Please could you help me i have had this issue for over a year now car drives fine all time i can floor it in all gears no problem but when im at low revs in 6th gear and put foot down as it boosts for about 2/5 secs  then it cuts out and goes into limp mode with service now. if you turn ignition off and leave for 30 secs everything fine again. i just brought fault code reader and it says there no previous faults even when its actually happening it finds no faults.

Just like some advice to which root i should go down next. Ford focus st diesel 2015 thanks

FORscan is free to download, but you will need to buy a ELM cable around £20.00 ish either the V linker or the modified, DONT buy the wifi version theyre a pain to connect.

It still gives me a smile when I see the VLinker FS title.

Does the F and S actually mean anything apart from the obvious suggestion ?

I thought it might have been another one of @StephenFordenterprises but the F and S are the wrong way round 😂

When was the fuel filter last changed?

I had similar symptoms and a new fuel filter fixed it.

Actually, when mine went into limp home mode it was the traction control icon that came on, but I still think it's worth considering.

Oh dear 🤔

That's what happens when using a mobile instead of a laptop 😂

Just having a meal in the hotel ready for the Ford Fair tomorrow. Loads of cool Ford's here in the car park.
