Hi looking to get my abs pump module refurbed, looking for recommendations and contact details of places that do this, any help greatly appreciated.

be careful about repairing the ABS. They require very specialist programming.

Programming can only be done with a new ABS module or a virginized refurbished ABS module. Since programming requires authorised access to the online Ford FDRS system you are basically limited to a Ford dealership. Apart from Ford dealerships and a few specialists there are virtually no independent garages that have the required authorization.

In strongly suggest to have your own ABS module refurbished in which case programming is not required.

Swap 1 out from another mk6 (assuming mk6). All plug n play, fit and forget. Replaced mine in my mk6 ST twice (Water damaged due to a water blockage in a drain)

 

Steviemac1690, Hi just to confirm its ok to just change the abs pump without having to reprogram, I have been told need to have compatible unit  or have mine refurbed, I have a 2008 mk6 zetec-s 1.6 tdci. Just need to be 100% as hoping can just plug and play, cheers.
