Is this the port for footwell lights ? Mk3 focus

Featured Replies

As seen in picture two I do have a space to put a footwell bulb holder but I'm not sure whether or not the white socket is what I need, because various guides etc seem to suggest connecting pins, but my socket only has one hole.

Presumably I need some sort of adapter in order to fit some lights ?

It's just a normal focus 2013 zetec I think, most of the guides seem to be using ST.

Are you sure the white connector is for the Footwell lights ?

It looks very much to me like a coaxial aerial socket not a power socket.

Makes more sense to be that  but I can't see anything else. Will look harder - should i be looking for a terminal with 3 pin holes like on other walkthroughs ?

If not there I suppose as per thread j can tap into a fuse (85 I think it said on there) and wire up my own I suppose

I tend to agree with @unofixEspecially as that connector appears to have 2 x wires to it, one black, and one black/grey stripe. If it were a light, I'd expect a power feed to be coloured in some way. Perhaps a multimeter to help?
