A bonnet lock issue!!

I'd bin it off for a new one myself.  If the re-lube only works for a few weeks/months it could be stuck again when you really need it...

Yes I would agree with Tom, the re-lube is only going to be a 'second chance' sort of fix. When you do get it open you need a replacement.

I concur. On my journey of broken locks I replaced this mechanism. Not expensive at all, so next time you get her open, get the 10mm socket set out (?) and replace...

LOL, I have no idea what your DIY skills are like! My garage did it, I stood and watched, took 10 minutes...
