My boot keeps opening randomly whilst I’m driving. It started a couple of months ago every now and again but now it’s happening all the time? 
Any advice on what could be causing it or how to fix the issue?

    Common problem.

    Normally caused by the actual boot release button on the handle of the tailgate.

    You can replace the whole assembly for under £20, check out eBay for replacement parts.

    water ingress to the boot boob, replacement about £10.00 and 20 mins to fit.

    i bought one with a lifetime warranty from ebay and had to use it when the tab snapped that hold it inplace.

    Lifetime warranty?? LOL I bought a replacement bonnet lock with a 1 year warranty, broke after 12 weeks, seller would not even respond to my messages and Ebay/PayPal were useless! (I did get my own back though!)
