Mk4 halogen headlights upgrade

Hi everyone. I've got a 2019 mk4 with the halogen headlights. My mistake I didn't order one with the led headlights. I can't install the factory leds and the headlight itself has no projectors so a simple led kit won't do much good. Is there any reliable road legal aftermarket upgrade for the halogen lights?

    Depends on what your countries laws and regulations are regarding replacing halogen lamps with alternative devices. In the UK the answer is mostly no.

    HID Xenon 55w H7 is an upgrade.
    Did this to mk3 and the difference is big. It is a lot better.

    It is illegal in the UK to 'upgrade' to HID bulbs, which are only legal if your car came with them... They are also easy to spot in an MOT as they take a few seconds to warm up.

    You may be luckier to install LED upgraded bulbs, which mine just passed an MOT! (Despite not being entirely UK legal) As said, you really need to know the lighting regulations in your country.

    Hi I have a 2019 plate mk4 focus st line and I want to upgrade my factory halogen headlights to the factory hid headlights what do I have to do

    Ask Harry Potter or pray for a miracle. Also good luck getting it through the MOT since it wasn't built with HID headlights.

    There were no factory HIDs on Mk4.  LED tech superseded HID by then.

    HID is quite old tech now, and easily spotted in an MOT as they take a second or two to warm up. Also, they fail if the car isn't fitted with headlight wash system which they had to come with in factory fitment...

    @Giannis82 though not what you are after. I fitted some "Philips Racing Vision GT200 H7"'s to a focus a few years ago, made a huge difference.
