Specification

Featured Replies

Hi

I have just purchased a 2011, MK2 Focus 1.6 Zetec, replacing a Fiesta, collecting next week.

If there anywhere online I can find the specification of the car from either the registration or the VIN, just to check on what the car has. I have tried on Etis, but it only seems to tell me there are no outstanding alerts on the car.

Off to look for engine covers now as this one does not have one.

Thanks

Martin

Etis is/has been decommissioned. There is sadly no public equivalent.

Ford etis is still functioning for now, they delayed the switch of due to issues in the new site.

ETIS still shows all info of new and old cars for the moment.  That’s not gone and you can still see it for software changes, updates and and the garage does.

you can also see Sync update pending as well if you haven’t done the,

I still prefer ETIS over the new site tho.
But ETIS is old now and no longer to a point of being fast enough for the new world of Ford and Electric Vehicles.

Try this:

ford.7zap.com

Insert the VIN and off you go.

Thanks everybody, the ford.7zap.com seemed to work, gave me a bit more information, thanks Irish Paddy.

I will register tomorrow Daz.uk, might as well look at the ETIS site as well.

According to what I have seen the car does not have Bluetooth with the radio, so will need to look into that and the engine cover and hopefully it will be a good car.

No probs.

If you haven’t registered then that will be the issue and you won’t see any info of the car.
ETIS changed its policy many years ago that you had to register to see all the info on the car.

Once you registered you should see everything that your car was made with in the factory.

Let us know how you get on.

Even if you go to the trouble & expense of installing a BlueTooth module, your age of head unit will only cope with BT phone calls, it's too old to stream music...

Yep, I thought that as well, I have an Alpine Dab separate unit that I mainly use for hands free calling. I removed that from the Fiesta today and will install it in the Focus when I collect it

I have seen a few video's on YouTube putting in a new stereo that include hands free and sat nav that look good but I did promise myself not to start spending to much on the car, but I always say that.
