So the condensation which has appeared today looks like it's in a different place, still debating whether this is normal? Last night it cleared after 4 hours. Mrs went to the shop and back tonight (it's been dry most of the day bar this morning). See pics below.

Yes it is normal for that design of Headlamp, it will respond to the prevailing atmospheric conditions and may take some time to clear at this time of year, maybe even days if the weather stays like this.

If you start getting problems in one Headlight only then it is time to worry, assuming the car is parked with both Headlights equally exposed to the elements.

The condensation is normal. I had it on my old st line and i also have it on my ST.

Love it mate! I had a molten orange Mk7 previously and this is much nicer.

Yes, as other posters, that's the sort of condensation I see regularly also.

Thanks for the response buddy.

Are your headlights LED or normal bulbs? As mentioned in that Osram article, LED types don't get hot, unlike filament (Halogen) or HID types, so don't heat up the air inside the headlight.

BTW, recently I've noticed my boot doesn't spring open un-aided, but can't remember if it's always been like that! They haven't failed as that stay up when wanted, I'd be annoyed and would change them, if they didn't
