Can you mix and match parts

Featured Replies

So I have a 62' Fiesta and I'm not a massive fan for the grey plastic inside and I seen that in some newerish fiestas you have black inserts there instead of the grey, could I take the black ones out a newer fiesta and just put them in my 62' version?

Only if the Fiesta's are the same Mark and age could you interchange parts.

Only thing to make sure is it has the same specification. i.e. climate control or manual A/C, Manual or Auto box etc.

A mk6 wouldn't be able to take mk7 parts, different design.

You could try wrapping the plastic? Cheaper and easier than replacing.

What about fiesta 2012 van ? And 16 plate st are front shocks and brake set up the same ?

For like shafts going through hubs ?

Brakes definitely aren't the same on ST & van models.  Suspension will almost certainly be different due to different engine weights.  Not even sure driveshafts will be the same as they use different gearboxes.
