Wiring guides

Does anyone happen to have a coloured wiring diagram for the plugs on a mk7 and mk8 steering wheel?

Am planning a little modification but can’t seem to find the diagrams showing which colour does what on each of the plugs!

Just trying to save myself having to test every single wire lol

Cheers 🙂

Cheers for that, but can’t find what I am looking for. It’s the main plug that goes into the steering wheel, am thinking of putting the later steering wheel in my car 🙂

Wiring from the vehicle connects to the clockspring and then to the steering wheel.

Depending on the functions fitted to each vehicle the clockspring will be different and will need to be changed.

For example the clockspring on the Fiesta 2012

Hi mate, if you still have the wiring diagrams for the mk8 and you can share them, I’d appreciate it!

@unofix Hi, is there any way you could share the wiring diagrams for the Mk 7 please ?

Need to chase down a possible wiring problem in the throttle body / accelerator pedal are on my 2012 1.25 Zetec Fiesta

Many thanks

@unofix Many thanks, I will study the diagrams and hopefully get a better idea of why my P2138 code randomly (and only occasionally) pops up.

Thanks again 🙂

Hi @unofix would love those diagrams too. Tried opening and it looks like they’re in your bin.
2012 mk7 would be great

Hello Eduardo, sorry I don't have any wiring diagrams for vehicles before 2012.

Just something for you to beware of, in the UK a Fiesta 2002 to 2008 is a Mk6

Hi @unofix - thank you so much for sharing the wiring diagrams. Could you maybe tell me which of the variants would be for a mk7 ecoboost 1.0, 2015?

For example fuse 34 shows in multiple documents (cel23, 24, 25 & 27), each of which seem to apply to different (engine?) versions…. Similar for the localisation views.

I am desperately trying to locate an intermittent fault which blows my fuse 34 at random (and usually very inconvenient) times, stalling the car! Fuel pump has been replaced.

Thanks!

I'm away on holiday and don't have access to the files at the moment.

The fuse numbers used by Ford on the schematic are very often not the same numbers used in the owners handbook.

This is a link to my Google drive for the Fiesta Mk8 (up to 2021) it includes LHD and RHD, petrol, diesel and pixie dust versions 🤣

Ford use a very odd system when it comes to fuse numbers. Those on the schematics do not usually match the same numbers in the owners handbooks.

According to the Ford schematics Fuse F34 is a 10A for the Transmission fluid pump (1.0L), not for the fuel pump.

Thanks Unofix! I downloaded the zip file but it says it’s for the focus 🤔 is it the same as the fiesta?
