Location of keyless entry antenna on 2012 smax?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Our 2012 SMAX keyless entry stopped working, says key not detected however inserting the whole key into the car does start.  We had somebody come to reprogram is however the computer is saying:

U201F: 13-0A - External Receive unit

Which I believe is because it can't communicate with the keyless entry receiver.

So my question is, where is that antenna located?  We can't seem to locate a diagram showing where it is.

Thanks
Chris

Hi,

I have a Ford S Max 2010 with exactly the same problem, did you manage to find where the RF receiver is located? And did you manage to fix the problem?

Thanks

Abdul

The RF receiver is usually stuck above the headlining in Fords.
