Induction kit

Featured Replies

Got a 2010 mk 7 fiesta zetec s 1.6 tdci.

What induction kits are available and where to get one from?

I'm looking at this myself. Pumaspeed seems to be a company that keeps popping up so I'm tempted to have a look at what they're offering. They also fit them as well so that could be handy if you don't fancy having a go yourself.

Hello and welcome to the forum, even if it was back in March.

You do know if you fit a performance filter to your diesel, you are unlikely to see any improvement in performance.  I changed my filter of my previous car whilst on rolling road and only gained 1.1 BHP (0.5%). This was from a dirty(ish) paper one to a K&N Panel.  If you buy a cone filter, it may actually give worse performance as it may suck warm air in from the engine bay. This will depend on the design and placement of it. The only advantage of them are they may give you more induction noise when you flow the throttle.

I fitted a panel K&N air filter not for performance but to save on costs, Came across a brand new filter & cleaner & oil for just £15, couldn't turn that down seeing as a standard paper filter is £10.

That was a great barging, as they normally retail at £60-£70.  I have seen standard paper ones at around that price (£10-£20).

It was off ebay and couldn't believe my luck, an error purchase and just wanted the set gone, talk about rubbing my hands, the gods was on my side that day 🥳

Pipercross is better.

K&Ns have too much oil and coat your MAF sensor
