Mk 3 estate rear shock replace.

Any tips or advice on changing the rear shocks on a mk 3 2.0 diesel estate. Working on ramps so not got a lot of space. Drivers side doesn't look to tricky but the passenger side is covered by the exhaust and heat shield.
