froggy8
ok guys, i have had my focus nearly a year now and i need to know which part could do with some good cleaning? i was thinking about the throttle body, spraying some carb cleaner in there while someone else press on the gas so it doesn't stall. do people still do that? obviously i will be doing the service for it too i.e sparkplugs, oil etc. is there any other parts that i should be cleaning? many thanks guys 🙂
TomsFocus
If it ain't broke...then none. Breaking seals on older car parts just to clean them isn't a good idea imo, too much potential for creating problems you don't currently have.

Jimpster
be careful with carb cleaner it can mess up plastic parts same as brake and clutch cleaner, as Tom says leave it alone.
