For a while now I have had installed an aftermarket stereo but have had to recently reinstall my original ford system. The issue I have is that the bluetooth section says BT off, but how do I actually make it say BT on, please see pic, thanks.

Your car is 12 years old, when BT was still expensive and a relative luxury. You needed an additional module for BT to operate. It's expensive and not that straightforward to add. It's not just a 'button' activation...

If the head unit has an AUX in facility, you may be able to use an external device like this.

i dont have bt on my car but i do have the aux plug and i find it annoying having to plug in my phone all the time but that link could be just what i needed. so all i got to do is plug that module to my aux plug then connect my phone via bt? is that all?

I can't attest to that 100%, but it's unlikely it wouldn't work that way. I would try dropping the vendor a message to confirm, they are quite good at replying. However, it does come with an AUX output with cable, so hard to see why it wouldn't work...

thank you.

only got cd and radio on my stereo, no bluetooth which is a pain. been wanting to change the stereo but it seems rather complicated/awkward so gave up but if that module works then that would help me out big time.
