Hi

I have a 2013 Ford Focus 1.6 TDCi titanium and I have the following problem:

I am after oil change. From this oil change, after every first start at the morning (cold engine) approx. 30 seconds later I got yellow "Engine malfunction service now" message and the power is decrease. When I restart the engine, the fault is cease. Has anyone any idea?  Other problem is the ambient temperature sensor malfunction. Displayed temperature is much lower than real temperature. any idea?

The temp sensor fault can happen when unplugging the MAF for oil filter change.  No-one seems to know why.  It should sort itself out eventually.  But if it's been a few days then check the MAF is actually plugged in properly.

You would have to have the fault codes read with a Ford specific reader to determine why the engine service message is coming up.

Using a generic code reader will not get you all of the Ford specific DTC's.

You need to use FORScan or a Ford diagnostic code reader.
