EcoBoost Misfiring

Hi,

I'm looking for some help/advice for my 1.6 Focus EcoBoost, 2014 reg that has a misfire issue on cylinder 2. Any help would be greatly appreciated if any of the more knowledgeable could spare some time.

Essentially the car started juddering and struggling to accelerate a couple of weeks ago. RAC came out and read the following fault codes:

DTC: P0300,Random Misfire Detected DTC: P0302,Cylinder 2 Misfire Detected

Car was kicking out a lot of white smoke when revved accompanied by a strong smell of fuel. Fella swapped cylinder 1 coil pack and plugs to cylinder 2 but the fault remained. I ended up taking it to a local indie who tested compression in the cylinder, which showed that there was no loss of compression. He started stripping the head down and noticed that one of the injectors was kicking out more fuel than he'd expect so advised this was replaced.

Did this and the car ran fine for about a week until last night when it started to struggle again with the car juddering. Checked and there's white smoke from the exhaust again and the smell of fuel. Indie garage said the next step was ECU and would be another decent bill so wanted to make sure there isn't anything else that could be tried?

Again, any help would be great!
