Bad smell inside after pushing hard

Hi, got an Focus 1.0 ecoboost mhev 125hp a few months.

After hard acceleration and with electric engine assisting, there's a bad smell inside the cabin. Not fuel or oil smell, more like something burned or rotten eggs. We don't notice it with normal driving. But notice that electric delivery is not constant as electric assist icon changes from normal to full back and forth.

Anyone with this mehv with same behavior?

Thanks.

Probably just the hybrid battery getting hot.  It's located under the passenger seat.

Thanks

It's the catalytic converter that can smell of eggs when pushing hard, normally only smell it when you get out the car though. Shouldn't be able to smell it inside without windows open.

Fully closed windows, it's strange.
