Is mk4 St bolster wear common and easily made?

Featured Replies

I just viewed a 20 plate st with only 9k miles but the leather has worn a bit on bolster which is annoying at such low miles. Would this put you off or is it common on these seats?

I would question, does the wear match the mileage.

It’s at ford, rest of car is fine

Your man on Wheeler Dealers (Mike Brewer) tidies up leather seats all the time and they always come up great. As long as it wasn't ripped, wouldn't personally worry me...

Low milage probably means lots of short trips with the driver getting in & out more frequently than a motorway car.  Low mileage isn't really a good thing in my experience.

It’s mainly lots of white bits dotted around. And if it’s got launch control on the options on dash, does that mean it has adjustable dampers and the performance pack doesn’t it?

Not necessarily.

The controller for the adaptive dampers is under the boot floor if you want to check. Bottom left corner iirc.

I think I saw what looked like an amplifier on the left of boot so that may be it? The b&o amp is at the front right  isn’t it?
