Had a look in the book and can’t see much about the alarm. Today I pulled the bonnet release then realised I’d left something in the house. I locked the car, went in the house, came back out and opened the boot with the button on the key and the alarm went off. It stopped as soon as I pressed the door unlock button. Is there a mechanism whereby if the bonnet isn’t catched and the doors aren’t unlocked using the button on the key that the alarm will trigger? Don’t want to make the same mistake again.

    It’s just the fact the bonnet was opened while the car was locked that triggered it.
