Cracked Head?

I sourced a replacement cylinder head assembly

Last time I did something similar was replacing my then mother in laws cracked head (the one on her car😀) with a good one from a local scrappy, valves lapped, new valve stem oil seals, valve springs, gaskets etc.

But this was on an A-series from her Mini, a heck of a lot simpler job than an ecoboost!

Once again filled with admiration for your efforts, Ray!

Engine is running very well and have done quite a few short trips

Once again Ray you have amazed me with your skills and determination. You must have a love, hate relationship with that little engine by now. So is this the final fix ? Will it run for another 40,000 miles ? Don't miss next weeks installment here on FOC 👍

Good Luck Ray, and well done.
