There are several fault codes relating to the turbo.  Do you know exactly what it was?

If there are no codes showing on a generic OBD scanner now then you will need Ford specific diags on it to see the hidden codes.

Without a fault code we'll just be guessing and you may end up wasting a lot of money on parts it didn't need.
