Focus MK3 rear camera install

Featured Replies

I have a 2013 for focus estate.  I would like to install a reverse camera, and it looks like my current system has an input on the back of the monitor for a camera.  There is also a connector that fits the input, that was hidden with black tape. What sort of camera do I need for it, assuming that the car already has the ford wiring in the back.

Did you get anywhere with this as I'm trying to do the same. Mine has the wiring in the back behind the rear drivers side taillight but I can't find anything up front.

No, I've not had time to do more digging yet.  The connection should be below the screen, but it will be covered up with tape (or at least, mine was). I need to find the correct converter for the back, to go with one of the cameras that are available on Amazon.
