engine malfunction warning and power steering malfunction appears but had them both checked there fine got a new set of clocks it sorted the problem for 3 days then its come back again any ideas of a permanent fix thanks.

    What are the fault codes?  Could be battery, steering rack or wiring as a starting point.

    my son’s 2008 st. - limp home, engine malfunction, power steering warning.

    A slap on the dash above the instrument cluster brought it back to life temporarily.

    had the solder replaced in the cluster, all ok now. Another area to check would be the BCM / Fusebox behind the glove box for water ingress.
