AsBuilt Codes Focus 4.5 - Accessory Timeout

Featured Replies

Evening. Does anyone know the AsBuilt codes to alter the Accessory power timeout on the 4.5? I've already changes this via the BdyCm using ForScan but it this made zero difference and still remains on for the default 30 mins after ignition has been turned off.

It drives me mad and I don't want my dash-cams on after the car it off.

Any help I'd appreciate. I'm pretty good with ForScan etc, but can't see to get it to turn off no matter what value I enter. Ideally I want it set to 10 seconds or less if possible.

Why not just wire the dashcam into an ignition switched fuse? That’s what I’ve done.

I have two, plus footwell lights that run off the 12v. Plus I like being able to turn the camera off whenI need to, for obvious reasons. I don't fancy recording my own evidence.
