MK2 Spare Tire, will it fit on a Mk4

Featured Replies

So long story short the MK4 2020 Focus I bought is missing it's spare, was wondering if I can take the spare out of my old MK2 2009 Focus and use it for the MK4.

newer cars dont come with a spare anymore, they normally have an emergency repair foam instead

Which is why they asked the question....?

The standard 16" emergency spare from a Focus Mk2 will fit a Focus Mk4. Don't forget you also need a suitable Jack and wheel brace.

As a side note, the spare wheel from a Focus Mk1 does not fit any other Mk of Focus.

Mk4 Focus's do come with a spare if you choose the correct spec.

The hub size is still the same as the Mk2.  Though I'm not sure if the tyre size will be.  Mk2 were all 16" spare iirc.  I had a 17" spare in the Mk4 Active Vignale, same as the ST I believe.

The Mk1 Focus spare will fit a Fiesta though.
