jonesytest Posted May 21, 2023 Share Posted May 21, 2023 Hi all. Changed the spark plugs on my Focus this weekend and found they were soaked in oil. I had the usual brown water collected in the wells (common windscreen washer issue?) but the tips of the plugs and the threads are covered in black oil. There's also a fair bit of rust on the flats and general crud and nastiness. These plugs are only 2 years old with approx 30k on them. Should I be worried? The car runs completely fine as is so I'm reluctant to start taking the rocker cover etc off...聽 Car has 190k on the clock. Appreciate any thoughts!
