Got my 2018 - Fiesta ST-Line upgraded, took about 1h 30 mins,   updated to F11.

Does anyone know the change log by any chance?

Do you know if the upgrade will resume if the ignition is turned off and back on during the install?

Yes it resumes from the last complete file that it downloaded. So if it's part way through a 4Gb file when you switch off the ignition, it will just start again from the beginning with that file

Why make a long trip?, all you need to do is put it on a battery charger and monitor it. Just switch the ignition back on when it cuts out.

You will need one this winter. It is very unlikely that your 2018 Fiesta will be able to keep the state of charge above 70%

Quite simply if the charge drops too low then the car wont start. Get yourself a trickle charger and get into a routine of charging once a week. You will get frequent pop ups on the screen warning you to start the engine otherwise.

Firstly Stop/Start will cease to function. Many including myself would count that as a win !!

Then not in any particular order, (a) Auto Hold (or Hill Start Assist) will be unavailable. (b) Heated front windscreen won't work. (c) Keyless entry (if fitted) will turn off on all doors except the drivers (d) Random ABS warnings (e) Heated rear window won't work. (f) Heated seats/steering wheel unavailable (g) Drivers door keyless entry will turn off. Of course you can live without these things but personally I'd rather just give the battery a charge every few weeks or even every month or two,

Thanks for the info, yes the stop/start has stopped working for a long time, when i go into the console and info its still saying its charging (guessing that means charging the battery)  so far thats the only thing that hasn't work since i dont drive the car that much..
