Falco
I took my 2011 Focus for an mot, failed due to headlamp adjusters not working. Had a look at it,no fuses in box to power adjusters, fitted correct size fuses, headlamp adjusters worked. Went to start car next morning, switched on,all dials on the dash flickering, car just managed to start, normally no issues. Removed headlight adjuster fuses,no flickering dials, car started instantly. Has anyone experienced this before?
unofix
That sound like the early stages of BCM failure due to water ingress. A Focus 2011 is also prone to problems with the instrument cluster, the solder that was used at the time was lead free and now is starting to break up and cause dry joints.
