Tony Roman
Hi, it is already well know that the major early Ford ecoboost engines issue is wet timing belt degradation. This may occur due to incorrect oil servicing or engine flushes. That's why I am very careful with the specific oil type /Castrol magnatec 5W20/ and oil change intervals of my 2016 1.0 Ecoboost Ford Focus. However I was told that even with correct oil servicing problems still may occur after some petrol leaks in oil. In most cases it is due to high pressure fuel pump leaking petrol in the oil. I wonder is there any way of early diagnosing or preventing such issue and possible engine failures?
