FOCUS MK2 PROBLEMS

Featured Replies

Two months ago, I purchased a 2010 Ford Focus MK2 station wagon tdci 80 kW (109 hp) and 138,000 km. Unfortunately, the car started experiencing issues right after the first service. I had to replace the EGR valve and the turbocharger. Additionally, I had to remove both the EGR valve and the particulate filter (FAP). Despite these repairs, I am currently facing a problem with error code U0073. I would appreciate any insights into what this issue could be.

Moreover, I have encountered another problem with the power windows and the driver-side mirror. The windows require multiple button presses to open or close, and the left mirror buttons function inconsistently. For example, to adjust the mirror to the right, I have to press the up button, and so on. I examined the panel and found that the switch cluster only has three wires connected to a control unit attached to the motor. Should I consider replacing the switch cluster or the control unit attached to the motor?

Thank you for your assistance!
