Some sort of sensor dangling off!

Featured Replies

I have a mark 8 fiesta 2019 so I seen this the other day no idea where it sits, looks like some sort of sensor for the accelerator. Need to know what it is and where it goes

thanks in advance

Looks like the brake light switch.

Well, I'll take the third option and suggest the clutch switch.

I did think that, but thought for the switch to be that far from the clutch pedal that it's now next to the accelerator I wondered if the wires would be long enough. 🤔

You don't need it, just rip it off out the way.........[only a joke]

I'm pretty sure that's the clutch pedal, not the accelerator.  This switch fits just to the left of the pedal itself, bit lower than the pivot point.
