Focus mk3 aircon fan speed

Featured Replies

Fan speed 1 and 2 are not working, while fan speed 3 and 4 are working fine. The ac light appears when the switch is in the position of 1 and 2.

any ideas on how to solve this problem?

Weird issue.  Sounds like resistor failure but usually you'd only be left with one speed.

That is normally the case, but it is quite possible to have only a section of the resistor pack fail on this design.

OP just needs to replace the blower fan resistor pack and normal service should be restored.

Thank you, I’ll have time next week to check if that was indeed the problem
