Are these genuine ford parts on ebay trustworthy?

Featured Replies

I can't answer your questions directly, but if you're worried about things, I would just get a third party OEM part from somewhere like Euro Car Parts (Bosch one for ~£10 would do).

If you're really worried, try calling your nearest Ford Dealer and ask how much the filter costs from them. Every so often, certain parts are just as cheap to buy from the manufacturer.

I've often bought genuine parts on eBay due to the ease of purchase, 30 day returns window and low price.

That listing has gone now but there are other pollen filters sold by VFC which look genuine to me.

In this case it doesn't really matter if it's not genuine anyway.  It's not a critical part and at the end of the day it's just a piece of folded paper.  I don't think anyone's going to make fakes out of asbestos.

I can still see the ebay link ? And your right it's not an important part for the car, didn't have such things back in the 70's/80's/90's so it won't break down on you.....lol

The other year I took my cabin filter out, get it a good banging on the floor, sprayed some aftershave on it and refitted it, made the car smell great 👌

Must have been an eBay glitch earlier.  Works now lol.

Often happens with these 'fake' eBay parts 🤣

Whatever you buy is covered by eBay guarantee, so if your happy to pay for it, your covered.

A bit off topic but what I hate to hear at car supply shops is:
Do you want..... 'Budget Price' - 'Standard Price' - 'Premium Price' 🤔 Oh the choices 🤨

I'll have premium quality at budget price if that's an option.
