FOCUS MK3 2014 IPC upgrade failed

Featured Replies

Hello, I recently changed my IPC from the small blue one to the one with the colored display. Everything works fine except now I don't have the TPMS sensor reset in the Driver assist menu. Can someone tell me what would I need to do to add the option back? I only plugged the new IPC and did not do any software changes. I'm fine with buying an OBD cable and subscription for any software as long as it's under 200$ combined. Any help is welcome.

You may need to either upgrade or downgrade the firmware in the cluster, there should be some posts on the internet, try the FORScan Forums, about upgrading MK3 Focus to MK3.5 cluster, it was quite a popular conversion, but there are some compatibility issues.

Once you've found out what you need to do, by that I mean change firmware, you will need to set up FORScan with a full paid license and buy either the V-Linker or the OBDLink EX cables, nothing else or you will brick the cluster. Follow the firmware update process to the letter on FORScan and make sure you have a battery charger connected to the vehicle. It takes about 45 minutes
