Non local SVP ???

I've seen a few Fiestas advertised on auto-trader as "non local svp" in the description. Does anyone have one of these and/or knows what it means, please?

I asked the Ford dealer and apparently svp stands for special vehicle preparation, but he didn't know what that meant.

    SVP is for emergency vehicles - lights, sirens, etc.  

    Non SVP means it was not initially ordered for police/fire/ambulance etc.  The vast majority should be non-SVP.

    A Fiesta in Chelmsford would look a bit silly with the NYPD graphics on it. :biggrin:

    No private seller would list a car that way.  I'm guessing these ones are from Ford dealers who are just pulling the entire spec list from ETIS instead of checking which parts customers are likely to need or understand.
