just a quick question have a 2006 mk6 fiesta petrol zetec s cars fine full service runs fine just done a trip to devon from Midlands absolute no issue.

 

Could someone please advise when the car is left unlocked for 5 mins or so when you jump back in to start it the engine won't start it turns but when I unlock it with the key it starts perfect any one had the same issues is this a security feture or issue sorry if its not clear enough

That's a weird one.

The remote buttons are  nothing to do with the immobiliser system.

Other than (maybe) the immobiliser activates itself after a couple of minutes and is not deactivating when you just jump in, but does when you unlock. (Its a big maybe though)

Does the remote function still work? 

@DaveT70 thank you for your response much appreciated remote function works perfect car locks unlocks with no issues this has happened twice and second time all I done was press the unlock button on central dash and it worked ill record this next time.
