The 5 year service is due on my Focus Mk4, and after a large price difference in my air-con refresh I decided to shop around.

Normally I go to the main dealer in Chorley, Evan Halshaw , called in and quote was £295

As I was in Bolton I called at Bristol Street and again a main dealer £180

Then this afternoon got an email from ford to book online and save £20,  so I picked a dealer Bristol Street Bolton (yes the same as above)  £85 with the discount, just not too sure if I have to pay for the oil extra as this wasn't too clear on the website.

    £85 sounds suspiciously cheap tbh.

    If you're on 2 yearly servicing then oil is not part of the 5th year scheduled service as standard.

    As the car is out of warranty, you may prefer the Motorcraft service now which does include oil.

    I think the cost of the oil will be extra, but I'm staying with Ford service mainly because it continues the Ford Assistance which is the top AA deal and that would cost me £200+ so in effect its either a free service or free AA, depending how you look at it ,

    Ah, just realised yours is diesel so yearly service schedule.

    Oil should be included in the 5 year/50k service so that's a great price tbh!
