Hi all !

So today i got a new issue.

Driving along and suddenley the ABS light comes on , i get a message saying the hill breaking assist isnt availble , and 1 other fault , the dash shows a car with 2 squiggly lines underneath. 

They come and go , they can turn off whilst driving , and sometimes when i start the car the ABS one is on ?

 

Any ideas ??

ABS sensor probably. Need to get the codes read. 

Yes I agree with Alex, it will almost certainly be one of the ABS sensors but you're going to need to use FORScan to find out which one.

Ive ordered a obs reader ,hopefully itll tell me which one

Your reader will need to be Ford specific, like an icarsoft unit, that can read abs and esp faults. 

Yea , the one ive ordered can apparently read abs faults...so it says 😛

So according toi my scanner its the rear left sensor.

However , looking online i have no idea which one to buy ? Theres so many different ones !!

Any suggestions ?

Looks like 2 options for a 2015 Focus rear:

With Park Assist or Active City Stop - 1756081

Without PA or ACS - 1847905

i know it has active city stop as thats one of the fuction its telling me is not avaible , so i guess its that one ?

Hey , So i ordered the sensor 1756081 and fitted it , it appears the ABS fault and hill start fault have gone, but the city start feature is still throwing up an error ?

The number im getting off the old sensor is AV6T-2B372-EB , which as far as i can see is the right one , might be mistaken as im a bit new to this malarky .

Any ideas?
