Transmission malfunction

Featured Replies

Hello, just had a bit of a query and im new to the forum. I have a ford focus 09 plate, auto. I started getting transmission malfunction on dashboard and car was jerking at low speed like mis firing. On diagnostics test no fault showing up regarding gear box. On diagnostics only getting P003a fault, something to do with turbo boost control. i have changed transmission fluid and filter and ive done a full service on the engine. Problem is still intermittent, has anyone had any similar issues and if so how did you resolve them? Someone told me possible water contamination in fuel ? Thank you.

My first point would be the common MK2 Cluster fault.

When you say "on diagnostic test" what did you use to read codes?

Ideally you need FORScan and a decent lead to read all the codes
