i recently bought a Ford Focus 2012 1.6 tdci titanium x.

Car is great and am planning to get a stage 1 remap on it.

I have noticed that the maps/navigation on the car are very outdated and the location is incorrect also.

What is the most cost effective way to fix this?

Or is the only solution to buy a new chip (SD card or whatever ) from ford. They are quite pricey 😕

    I get mine from Ebay. Just make sure you get the right type for the Focus (different to my Mondeo so it won't be for a MCA unit...MFD maybe, but please check)

    Chip was delivered and location is still wrong for some reason, I read that I can disconnect the negative wire from my battery and it will reset the GPS. Anyone know if this works? If anyone has tips as to how to get to the negative wore that would be helpful also as it's tucked in a good bit. Cheers.

    Disconnecting the battery and leaving it disconnected for about 45 minutes will reset all the ecu's in the car. Would probably reset the GPS I'd have thought.
