Aftermarket parts

Featured Replies

I am heavily considering doing a stage 1 remap on my 2012 Focus 1.6 TDCI.

Seeing as I am likely going for the remap i want to make the car look "sportier" and will eventually need to repair parts.

I have had trouble finding places or websites in Ireland to purchase good aftermarket parts for things such as:

- exterior styling

- general performance upgrades

Any advice would be helpful.

Thanks.

Your main issue is going to be that you live in Dublin! It's tough enough living in Northern Ireland which is meant to be in the UK, but recently it's the devils own game trying to source suppliers that will ship to us. Was recently looking for some innocent spark plugs, advertised as 'FREE P&P to UK' though when I put my postcode in, there was a £25 'courier' cost!

Even today, I was looking a simple replacement laptop battery on Ebay, there were over 100 listed, yet when I filtered to my postcode, it dropped to zero, as each listing stated, 'does not post to NI'.

Best of luck buddy sourcing parts, I'm sure with some patience you'll be fine...

Try Maxton design, they have an Irish website that delivers to anywhere in Ireland, also demon tweeks have a large selection of stuff and the deliver to Ireland with VAT paid.
