My partner's Vignale doesn't seem to switch off the engine when stationary and out of gear like i thought it should, it has done it a couple of times but recently I have not had it happen, even went on a 100 mile trip and at every set of traffic lights the engine didn't cut out.  I know you can switch the stop/start off but am I right in thinking that it is defaulted to ON every time you start the car?  Tried switching the aircon off but no difference (my car won't cut out if aircon is active).  Any advice?
