Sill cover removal

Hi,

Been wrestling (gently) with the sill covers this afternoon. ETIS says undo the 8 clips underneath (done) then use a wedge to pry off the remaining 15 hidden ones along the top. Anyone know where to insert the said wedge (keep it clean folks) and how much force is required? The back section of the sill cover seems to be separate from the rest (ETIS doesn't show this)) and is held on by a clip that looks like the sill cover should be slid on/off it, not pried off.

Why do want them off? They trap a load of dirt and there is no way for it to escape so I want to clean it out, underseal the area and maybe put some big drain holes in the sill covers to let the muck out.

Any got any experience getting these on and off?

    Thanks for responding. I don't think I can post a link to ETIS as I'm using an offline version. I've managed to capture this image which shows the 15 hidden clips. Any help?

    Sorry, never taken one of these off. There probably a slot in fir tree or similar clip. Keep wrestling I'm afraid.
