Mk7 Fiesta Cigarette Port Stuck

Featured Replies

My 2009 mk7 fiesta has a broken cigarette port so I’m trying to remove the old one to replace it.  It seems the port has this plastic thing attached to it that is getting caught when I try to take it out the cigarette port holder.  Any ideas, see image attached?

there are 2 little clips holding the metal part and the plastic part together, when you release the center part (matal bit) it will come out and you will have enough room to manipulate the plastic out.

sorry about the delay been a crazy week in work, normally there's 2 little plastic parts that lock the center in lift them with a small screwdriver or something small and it should just slide out of the plastics.

thats on a vw but they are all more or less the same and you should be able to see what your looking for from it.
