    Listening to it really isn't a good indicator of engine health.  If it was knocking so loudly to be certain then the oil pressure light would be on anyway.  But if the oil pressure is still just about good enough for the pressure switch, the top end of the engine can be wearing out and start knocking quietly, getting louder and louder over time as the parts wear out and the gaps get larger.  I really wouldn't recommend using engine noise to determine condition personally.

    Just booked her in for a belt change at north west engines hopefully it will be good for a month until the service 😂
