Ford Focus 2009 Wiring diagrams for 2 switches

Featured Replies

Hi Guys

I am trying to wire up heated seats from Ford Focus Titanium 2009 to my Focus 2009 Zetec and I am looking for wiring diagrams for 2 switches

1. 8V4T-19k314-AB - 4 pin control switch

2. 3M5T-14489-DNA 20 pin switch under the seats

I tried google but no luck, I even tried asking AI like Bard and ChatGPT but they were just changing they answers as soon as I was questioning it even more.

Thanks

Thanks, I can see 3M5T-14489-DNA but not 8V4T-19k314-AB  😞

These are the switches for the heated seats for those that have the rotary type

That is the part number of the switch and not the connector that plugs in to it, that's why the number is not on the drawing.

Thank you very much 🙂 I think I should have everything sorted now and need to start running cables 🙂

Would you know how I can find out what female pin connectors they use ?

Those heated seat switches were used on many Ford models from around 2008 to 2012ish you will be able to find the plug and wiring  harness at scrap yards for a few pounds. Just cut the harness and splice the plug on to your wiring.

You could buy a couple of used switches complete with the wiring plugs on eBay

I got the switches but what I wanted to do is cramp pins to new wires rather then solder them to new cables but can't find what they are closest I got was molex mx150 but looks bit different
