I had yoghurt! I must have a funny memory though - I seem to retain all sorts of fairly useless information** but can I remember where I put my reading glasses? Nope!

** But I haven't remembered those dimensions for 18 years though - I was looking them up fairly recently in connection with another thread on this or a different forum - or was it a discussion with a mate? - can't remember which!😀

i must have always liked fords. when i passed my test i had my eye on a metallic blue escort A224YGM , my dad put me off it due to a problem with the master cylinder. he found a more suitable first car for me in a mars red polo breadvan C583MRD. I later upgraded to a golf 1.3 D412TYJ then golf gti's B446DWJ B85TBW and later a golf 'driver' J372TRX which i sold at about 260k miles. amazing how you remember registration numbers!

Funny that, I've also often got the impression that some cars were bigger or smaller than they actually were. Visibility, ease of driving, or whether the headlining is light or dark can all alter your perception, though in the case of the Golf vs Focus I felt the Focus was bigger, no question. In the end, at that time I went for an A3 Sportback ( @iantt no, I can't remember the exact dimensions for that, I know it was a bit bigger than the Golf but a bit smaller than the Focus, though!😀)

15 miles from the lea and perrins Worcester sauce factory. 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Not actively advertised yet, partner been trying a few cars at local garages. Nothing I would buy but not my money. She has pretty much discounted all the advise I've given and wants a mini. Think psychological medication is in order.
