2018 Fiesta AC blowing hot & washer jets not working

Featured Replies

Has anyone had an issue where the air con suddenly stops working - apparently it isn't connecting (regassed and was working fine) and the washer jets aren't working (water refilled).  Not sure if the issue could be connected? Thanks

How long ago was the AC regassed?

Can you hear the washer pump whirring when pressing the button?

Was regassed July - worked fine saturday morning, saturday afternoon just blowing hot.  Can hear the noise the the washer jets just nothing coming out front or rear

Ok, sounds like two separate faults in that case.

The washer pump filter is likely to be blocked.  It will need to be removed and cleaned out.

AC issue is more difficult to diagnose online.  It could be that a stone pierced the AC condenser during the drive on Saturday and the gas has leaked.  It could be low battery charge (although would expect to see more faults with that) or it could be a wiring fault or blown fuse.  Needs further diagnosis I'm afraid.

I had a leak in the AC condenser - this was replaced under my warranty cover (phew).  The washers was a blockage at the storage, and cleared by flushing the system through.
