Issue with Miles to Empty and stiff accelerator

Featured Replies

spacer.pngMy 2015 automatic ford fiesta has this issue where I'm driving and no matter how many miles I have left every other time i drive it the accelerator jolts a tiny bit and I look down and see that my "miles to 0" just displays as ------ and when I pull over and turn my car off and on again it goes back to normal and the accelerator does not feel as stiff. Any ideas? No faults display on electrical tester

Hi. I've started noticing the same problem on my automatic ford fiesta. Has yours been resolved? And if yes, what was the cause of the problem? Mine started since we had to change battery. I have taken it to three different garages, including ford and they can't identify the issue. Not sure what to do now....
